The older I get the more I can genuinely say I was blessed since birth. My first and greatest blessing was being born into the family I was born into. I couldn't have asked for a better upbringing. I have a loving family and had so many great experiences before I was even 18.
So many people have tumultuous relationships with their family members and I'm so greatfull to have never had to deal with that. Even connecting in the recent years with my father's side of the family after a very long time (through the magic of Facebook! Lol) has proven to just give me more amazing and loving people I can call my family.
I've even been blessed with great in-laws, not to mention a great husband. My family and I get along great with my husband's family. None of the traditional in-law strife at all.
My greatest blessing is my family. What's yours?

ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with you about family. Seeing your wedding pic almost sends me into tears. My daughter is amazing, I'm soon to have another (6 months preggy), and my best friend of 5 years and I will be getting married one day. I want it to be soon because I keep dreaming of that special day. A girl can only wait and dream right now.
