Mary Kay Products Review

I received the following Mary Kay products complimentary via the Influenster program to try out.

True Dimensions™  Lip Stick in Pink Cherie ($18.00)

I like this lipstick. It feels nice on my lips, very moisturizing, and a cute light pink color. I would probably call this a colored lip-gloss rather than a lipstick. I love it, but I don't think it covers the lips in the way I expect a lipstick to. The packaging on the True Dimensions lipsticks is so chic, I love it. I also couldn't figure out how to open it when I first got it! You have to push down on the top, then the lipstick comes out of the bottom, rather than pulling the cap off.

Mary Kay® Lash Love Lengthening Mascara (I ♥ Black; $15.00) and Mary Kay® Lash Primer ($15.00)

These two products worked together to give me really defined and pronounced lashes. I loved it. This is the first time I've ever used an eyelash primer. The first time I used the duo I think I waited too long to apply the mascara after the primer, because the mascara wouldn't really stick to my lashes. The second time around I applied the mascara right after the primer and it worked great.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color – Violet Storm ($22.00)

This is the first cream eye shadow I've ever used and I liked it. The color Violet Storm only offered a hint of color on my dark skin, but it worked for a simple day look. If I ever purchased another color I'd go for something in a brighter or deeper tone.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush ($10.00)

This brush was nice. I used it once to apply the cream eye color but then after that I used my fingers. I prefer using my fingers to apply most creamy products, I just feel I get better application that way.

Are you looking at my lashes? LOOK AT THOSE LASHES! lol

Do you have any favorite Mary Kay products?
